Today, we are happy and have a son together. I have learned to trust God no matter what. I’ve been there, the rape, the drugs, the pain, the hurt, the fear of my marriage collapsing because it was my fault. I have seen life in its brutal phases, life was not fair. I had contemplated suicide several times and that seemed like the best option for me because it seemed drugs were not giving me what I wanted but still God saved me. He showed up through my husband. Abraham was my best gift. God uses him to fix my life and then having my son gave me the stability to move on. God’s word became my meal. We meditated on it daily and that assurance kept us going.

Today, we the Bordens have a dance and fire ministry. We minister in dance but also prayers and encouragement to couples around the world. Our mess is our message. The testimony brings healing to others.

During one of our dances, I was outside praise dancing on the 15th of November 2020 a few days to my birthday and I was hit and run over by a car. I sustained several injuries, had a fractured bone with several cuts but his faithfulness kept me. At that point, everyone had given up on me. They thought I wouldn’t make it, but God kept me. Today I am back in ministry and I was blessed to bring the dance ministration on the day of the launching of the “IT’S MY STORY” e-magazine.

Today I can encourage others to stay strong and keep going because God has got your back.
