Yes I mean not a slave. I know some cultures have that entrenched to a very deep level. The wife is brought in to serve everybody and slave for all the in-laws.

Yes, she married into your family but remember the husband had to leave to join himself to her. Have you woken up to the fact that you now have a new daughter and are expected to treat her as such?
I still wonder why some mothers treat their daughters-in-law like rubbish. When you give birth to a new baby you don’t abuse that baby but you shower care and love on that baby. She is tender and cannot walk or crawl or feed herself. So we help that baby until she can stand and run.
The same applies in marriage. She has come into your home as a new daughter, train her, support her, love her, cherish her, and don’t see her as an enemy.
