“The land which we cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the Lord our God cares; the eyes of the Lord our God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.” Deuteronomy 11:11

2022 is a year where women will rise like the lioness described in Numbers 23 verse 24. I believe that there is a rising. A rising in greatness and purpose, a rising out of darkness, a rising from the ashes of abuse and domestic violence, a rising of widows who thought they were at their wit’s end. A RISING. Many great women are yet to be unveiled and whose stories will go down in the annals of history. Great women are everywhere. They are next to us in the bus stations and car parks, in the hospital rooms nursing children with terminal illnesses, in schools teaching the presidents of tomorrow, in the shelters for battered women looking like life has ended, widows who have been suppressed but with a fire in their bones about to erupt in the prophetic….women who have been bowed down and crushed for too long but whose life story is not yet over. They have a chapter yet unlived, yet unveiled, yet untold.
We have shared the personal stories of some of them in this edition.
