It's My Story

Editors Desk Second Edition

At the end of the day do our lives belong to us or to God? It’s My STORY

Sis Marie-Anne

Dear precious saints of God,

I know that all is well with your homes this season.

The month of June has come with full sunshine and warm weather in Europe, bringing us into summer. I am excited to see the glorious change of season as we come into a time of warmth, celebration, happiness, birds singing, vacation and rest.

This reminds me of a Bible verse that I love and which was our wedding theme verse:

“For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of the birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; the fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away” Song of Solomon 2: 10-13

With this verse, I am pleased to welcome you to the second edition of It’s My Story e-magazine. In this edition, you will read sometimes very painful stories and you will be taken on a journey of what the Lord has done in the lives of each person. What is always touching is that Christ the Author & Finisher of our Faith never leaves a story halfway. He writes and ends the story with joy.

God Himself tells us in Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

There is hope. There is a future in Christ. Dark seasons never last. Whatever you may be going through in your life right now, I pray that as you read these stories of healing from abuse, grief, poverty, pain, and lost hope, that your strength will be renewed and that the dark clouds will lift and the glory of God will usher you into your summer.

May the winter pass over you, may the rains be gone, may flowers appear on your land, and may your time of singing finally come.

Arise, shine. For your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen over you.

In His vineyard,
