Little by little I started forgetting about my ex, and with Mr Jeevan I felt free and with nothing weighing me down again. The more I spent time with him the more I felt closer to God and to my purpose.

After 6 months of dating he proposed and on June 6, 2019 we got married. We courted for less than a year and we were married.

The battle did not end there. When we started preparing for our wedding, opposition came up. My ex started cooking up stories. He told my sister that my husband is married and that he left a family in South Africa. My sister told my uncles not to receive my bride price. Thank God my mother knew that it was all lies so she stood by my side

My sister started sending me messages telling me how poor my man is, that once I will have a child my marriage will end and that he was just using me. She would send insulting messages to my husband telling him to leave me. All these were manipulations coming from my ex.

But I thank God because with my husband we could hold hands and pray until our wedding happened.
