A Widow’s Testimony
Sing to God, sing praises to His name, cast up a highway for Him who rides through the deserts – His name is the Lord – be in high spirits and glory before Him! A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows is God in His holy habitation. Psalm 68:4-5
IT’S MY STORY
Hi, my name is Chinwe, and below is my story.
In 2013, My Husband Suddenly Passed Away!
A few hours after his burial I was summoned by his relatives in the village. They asked me to bring every kobo (Nigerian currency) in my possession whether personal, joint, or fixed and this they did with threats to my life and that of my children.
In 2013…the kiddos were just babies. My last baby was only few months old.
Here are my vivid memories of that event!
I will refer to my late husband as the ‘good man’ and some of his relatives as ‘the ne’er-do-wells’
